Aker Solutions HSE department based in Port Klang Free Zone,Selangor Malaysia which provides support services in ensuring the effectiveness of implementation of HSE management system in Port Klang Manufacturing Operations. We need an experience HSE Advisor to join the team ,who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the Subsea market. We are looking for a HSE Advisor who has strong project management back ground and people management skill. The HSE Advisor shall have good knowledge and hands on skill , in preparing project reports,presentation and communication.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
To promote Aker Solutions and Client HSE Management System ensuring work is carried out safely
To advise line management of any legislative requirements and make any recommendations necessary
To work closely with the local statutory bodies (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA etc.) to ensure compliance and updated site’s knowledge on OSH related issues e.g. annual factory & machine inspection on lifting and pressurised equipment, incident reporting, occupational health programs etc
To work closely with ASM project team in managing assigned projects
To meet clients requirements and coordinate projects
To attend and lead projects meeting and prepare project reports on timely submission
To assist in development of Job Hazard Analysis, Risk Assessment, Safe Operating Procedures and Work Instruction
To develop and monitor HSE leading indicator as per Aker Solutions HSE KPI Targets
To demonstrate through example of high commitment and alignment with value of Aker Solutions Vision is to be the preferred partner for all stakeholders, through: HSE Mindset, Customer Drive, Hands-on Management, Delivering Results , Open and Direct Dialogue, People and Teams
To consolidate and analyse worksafe card submission for identification of Unsafe Acts and Conditions. To monitor the closure of worksafe cards and provide the necessary advice for action plans to close the cards
Qualifications and Personal Qualities:
Bachelor Degree related to Safety management and/ or Engineering
Registered with DOSH as a Safety & Health Officer would be an advantage
Minimum 7 years’ project experience in oil and gas or manufacturing industry
2 years operational experience in the HSE discipline
Strong track record of delivering value adding results through opportunity generation and execution
