Job Title : Motorman
Candidates Requirement :
  • The holder must have at least two (2) years experience in duties.
  • Certificates or Diploma in equivalent field. Preferably engine room rating certificate in accordance with STCW '95 requirements.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities :
  • Assisting vessel engineers with routine and maintenance tasks.
  • Being team member of the fire team, attending emergency drills.
  • Carry out inspection room routine duties under supervision of engineer.
  • Assist during bunkering operations under supervision of engineer.
  • Carry out maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, not limited to engine room and accommodation activities under supervision of engineer.
  • Keeping engine room spaces clean, tidy and organized.

Job Title : 1st Engineer
Candidates Requirement :
  • The holder must have three (3) years experience in equivalent position.
  • 1st Engineer Certificate of Competency (COC) per STCW '95
  • Proficient in written and spoken English with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills
Responsibilities :
  • Familiar with and maintain awareness of the relevant Company requirements and where applicable, the latest industry codes and standards including statutory rules and regulations.
  • To ensure all workspace activities are carried out in manner consistent with Company policies for safety, quality and environmental matters and in accordance with Corporate / Department specific procedures.
  • To implement Company Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
  • Assist Chief Engineer in developing recommendations for dry dock repair work and modifications.
  • To survey, test and maintain all machinery / equipment in accordance with classification, legal and company requirements.
  • Responsibilities for maintenance and repair of all Company owned equipment onboard, which may be operated from the vessel.
  • Supervises offloading of fuel and the refuelling of vessels.
  • Responsibilities for documenting changes / as-built drawing packages for all system to reflect latest revision.
  • To ensure all mechanical works are carried out to the required standards.
  • To carry out all routine tests on Emergency Systems alarms on regular basis.
  • To ensure safe and efficient operation and maintenance of marine machinery onboard.
  • Responsibilities for efficient and timely ordering of spares.
  • Any additional duties within own experience and capability as advised by Chief Engineer.
  • Perform duties within the vessel emergency team as indicated in Emergency Preparedness Manual.
  • Liaise and support Lay Tech when needed.


Job Title : 3rd Engineer
Candidates Requirement :
  • Diploma in Marine Engineering/3rd Engineer certificate in accordance with STCW’95 requirements.
  • The holder must have 1-2 years experience in equivalent position with time spent on watchkeeping and maintenance duties.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • must have Wartsila experience
Responsibilities :
  • To become familiar with and maintain awareness of the relevant Company requirements and where applicable, the latest industry codes and standards including statutory rules and regulations.
  • To ensure all workspace activities are carried out in a manner consistent with company policies for safety, quality and environmental matters and in accordance with Corporate/Department specific procedures.
  • To ensure safe and efficient operation of engine room machinery, during his duty watch.
  • Ensure that permit to work system is understood and operated and provides Tool Box Talks (TBT).
  • To implement Companies Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
  • Survey, test and maintain ship's machinery/equipment, comprising Emergency systems, Safety systems in accordance with classification, legal and company requirements and or other acceptable standards.
  • Carry out all analysis task for cooling water, sanitary water, fuel oil and oil for all equipment.
  • Takes part in bunkering/offloading of fuel/oil and the refuelling of vessels.
  • Responsible for bunkering/offloading of water.
  • Assists 1st Engineer and/or 2nd Engineer with watchkeeping.
  • Any additional duties within his own experience and capabilities.
  • Perform duties within the vessel emergency team.
