Maintenance Engineer

Be part of KNB asset maintenance team who taking care after Kinabalu complex platform. Kinabalu complex platform are consist of existing KNDP-A, oil and gas platform and newly installed KNDW-D, well head platform.

The employee will be the custodian of all major rotating equipment such as reciprocating/centrifugal pumps, gas turbines, reciprocating gas /diesel engines, and reciprocating compressors.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for maintenance planning and ensuring that maintenance is maximized in terms of cost effectiveness as well as equipment reliability to meet company’s KPI.

Provides technical expertise and supporting plant maintenance activities, reliability programs and plant performance improvement.

Provide technical expertise, troubleshooting of rotating equipment repetitive failure through root cause analysis or any fault analysis methods.

Capable to perform special assignments as directed, utilizing his Engineering knowledge and experience.

Awareness of reliability programs and how to monitor rotating equipment's performance, supporting day to day maintenance activities on major equipment.

Ability to troubleshoot and analyze vibration on all rotating equipment types including compressors, pumps functions and propose required repairs.

Develops and reviews maintenance schedules in detail; verifies initial estimate for labor, material, tools, equipment and shop work; reviews and verifies adequacy of estimated project cost prior to and during work progress.

Ensures that periodic maintenance is performed in accordance with vendor recommendations and procedures and that maintenance logs and records are maintained.

Maintains current maintenance documentation and insures hardware modifications are current with vendor Recommendations.

Ensures adequate stocks of spare parts are available for the plant or area system.

REQUIREMENTS

B.Sc. in engineering (preferably Mechanical).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in rotating equipment.
Familiar with principles of Reliability Engineering.
Be able to work off-shore by holding current offshore medical and BOSIET certificates.
Availability off-working schedule in case of emergency or as required.

VALUABLES

Experience in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), preferably Maximo or SAP.

Familiar with RS Logix and Woodward Control.

Hands-on experience in dealing with reciprocating and gas turbine engines and centrifugal and reciprocating compressors.

Development Geophysicist

Be a key member of a geotechnical team comprising geologists, geophysicists, petrophysicists and reservoir engineers charged with optimizing oil and gas field development in a complex, stacked-pay environment.

The employee will mainly evaluate and interpret seismic data in order to define the configuration of oil and gas fields, thus contributing to the effective management of the Company’s hydrocarbon reserves and production.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


Perform well to seismic tie and forward modeling.

Carry out seismic interpretation, velocity modeling and structural modeling using Petrel software.

Perform seismic attribute mapping and amplitude analysis to facilitate reservoir properties and facies modeling.

Identify development and near field exploration drilling targets.

Resource and risk evaluation of identified leads and prospects.

Assist in well drilling operations including pre- and post-drilling evaluations and documentations.

Being involved in Field Development Plans and/or Full Field Reviews.

Provide input for annual reserves reporting.

REQUIREMENTS

B.Sc. in Geophysics/Geology.

Minimum of 3 years´ experience in field development in the upstream oil and gas sector.

Must possess good communication and organizational skills and be able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary and multi-national technical team.

VALUABLES

Previous experience in using Petrel geophysical tools, Hampson-Russell and other state-of-the-art software.

Practical experience in seismic acquisition, seismic processing, seismic inversion, AVO modeling and rock physics work.

Previous experience in working on multicultural and/or international environments.
